                         atmosf{\'e}rica de altos n{\'{\i}}veis durante o outono dos 
                         epis{\'o}dios de La Niņa de 1989 e de El Niņo de 1993. Foram 
                         analisadas as anomalias da temperatura da superf{\'{\i}}cie do 
                         mar (TSM) e da circula{\c{c}}{\~a}o em altos n{\'{\i}}veis 
                         para os dois epis{\'o}dios, durante o trimestre marco, abril e 
                         maio (MAM). Atrav{\'e}s dos dados de rean{\'a}lises do National 
                         Centers for Environment Prediction/National Center for Atmospheric 
                         Research (NCEP/NCAR). Os resultados obtidos indicam a 
                         exist{\^e}ncia de forte variabilidade na intensidade dos jatos 
                         subtropicais durante o episodio de El Niņo e de La Niņa. O jato 
                         apresentou-se mais intenso (enfraquecido) do que o normal durante 
                         o epis{\'o}dio de El Niņo (La Niņa). Notou-se ainda 
                         configura{\c{c}}{\~o}es de trens de ondas de Rossby 
                         for{\c{c}}adas devido as anomalias de TSM no Pac{\'{\i}}fico 
                         central e oeste, compostas por sucess{\~o}es alternadas de 
                         ciclones e anticiclones. ABSTRACT: This work aims to analyze the 
                         atmospheric circulation of high levels during the fall of La Niņa 
                         episodes of 1989 and 1993 El Niņo. We analyzed the anomalies of 
                         sea surface temperature (SST) and circulation at high levels for 
                         the two episodes during the quarter in March, April and May (MAM). 
                         We have been used data from the reanalysis of the National Centers 
                         for Environment Prediction / National Center for Atmospheric 
                         Research (NCEP / NCAR). The results indicate that there is 
                         considerable variability in the intensity of the subtropical jet 
                         during the episode of El Niņo and La Niņa. The jet had become more 
                         intense (weak) than normal during the episode of El Niņo (La 
                         Niņa). It had been noted settings of Rossby wave trains were 
                         forced to due to SST anomalies in the central and western Pacific, 
                         composed of alternating succession of cyclones and anticyclones.",
